Happy Halloween

I really do love Halloween at school...it is so much fun to have all of these little blings learning in their costumes. I REALLY wish we could all dress-up every day. I have taught them a lot about life today...life...and Punky Brewster.

Kid after recess (it was really hot inside our room): Is Ms. Banks hot?
Kid #2: Is Ms. Banks hot?
Kid #3: Is Ms. Banks hot?
Kid #4: Ms. Banks, is she hot?
Kid #1: Ms. Banks is hot.
Kid #2: Ms. Banks is hot.
Kid #3: She really is hot.
Kid #4: Yeah. Hot.

Ellen Mary: I'd take a man in a bra if he looked like that.

Creepy

This morning we had a big talk about things that scared us that other people might think are strange...it all happened because today we are starting our City Wildlife unit, and I confessed to my fear of water fowl and squirrels...it turns out that I'm not the only one.

Terrence: I am SO scared of something...I won't even say it.
AB: Well...you don't have to tell us if you don't feel comfortable.
Terrence: You've seen it.
AB: Okay.
Terrence: OKAY! It's HIM! It's the guy at Chuck E. Cheese called Chucky. I hate him. He jumps out at me.
Matthew: Dude...he jumped at me too! CREEPY!

Fridays are for FUN

At 8:25 this morning, Jumanja came into my classroom and attacked me with a feather tipped pen, I screamed...then she yelled, "I knew that would make you laugh."

Jumanja: My dad said if we could get people to throw money at us, we could go to a magic show at the cathedral of faith.

Life is good...I'm livin' the dream. I have 20 interesting little blings in my third grade classroom. I realized today that they say too many things that should be recorded somewhere...so here it is...Na. Naa!
